Where can accessible NYC transit take me? MinuteMap Reach calculates reachable stations from the transit graph for 30, 45 and 60 minute thresholds and can apply accessibility constraints and current matched elevator outages.
MinuteMap NYC — measuring the time cost of transit inaccessibility
MinuteMap is an independent civic-technology research project. It compares scheduled-model New York City
transit journeys and reports a step-free comparison only when required accessibility evidence can be verified, measures the difference in minutes,
and identifies the stations, elevators and transfers responsible. It uses official MTA station, elevator and
escalator datasets and live equipment outage feeds. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the Metropolitan
Transportation Authority.
